Sporting Model

The Poli Sporting Model was designed for today’s high volume clay shooter. It is available only in 12 or 20 gauge and is crafted using an Anson & Deeley boxlock action. This competition gun features a machine filed flat rib and 30 inch barrels with .733 bore diameter and long forcing cones. The barrels are custom choked by Briley Manufacturing in Texas and come with five chokes. Barrel lengths up to 32 inches are available. Standard features include a single non-selective trigger, manual extractors and a case hardened receiver. Different receiver finishes are available at no additional charge. The pistol grip stock with a palm swell and a well-proportioned semi-beavertail forend are oil-finished European walnut. Checkering is 1.25mm. A traditional Silvers-style pad is standard. Generally custom dimensions are included at no additional fee; however, for that rare case, the out-of-standard stock dimension charge is $450. Sporting Extra Model

The Sporting Extra shotgun includes all the above features plus a sideplate that adds a classic look to the gun while strengthening the wood-to-receiver fit. It also provides the engraver a larger surface on which to work. The A3 or A7 engraving pattern is standard, but many other choices are also available. The wood on this model is an upgraded oil-finished AAA fancy European walnut. Checkering is the finer 1mm.
